Don't know what to say here.....

.....I've removed a post from my blog.  If you don't know what it was, we'll just leave it at that.  If you do, well, I'm moving on, moving forward.  I thank everyone for the nice words of encouragement and the emails. I didn't start my blog to be a place for negativity, who needs that, eh?  We can turn on the news and get enough of that.

So, on to better things!   Keep the Chicken dish names coming.  I do have a couple I  like but I'm looking for more.

There is a new design in the works and I will once again, begin to sell my patterns.

I want to share with you a picture that was sent to me by Lynn.  She made these cuties using my "Bitty Critters" pattern and I LOVE them!

  3. Good for you Maureen!!!!
I had hoped that once you got over your hurt and sadness you would go back to designing and selling your patterns. By not doing what you do best you were 1st & foremost only hurting yourself and 2nd,the people who do love and buy your patterns. I've been selling my work for almost 40 years. About 30 of those years was doing shows. I've seen it all!!! This was going on LONG BEFORE selling on the internet and it will continue to go on!! Though I don't sell patterns,I do design a lot of my own work. Through all my years of selling I have often seen my things copied. Just last week I saw a design of mine up for auction on eBay. It was done by a person who I had thought was a "friend".She had bled me dry of teaching & knowledge.I would even take her things with me to sell at my shows, and when I'd return home,I'd just give her the money. When I became to ill to travel to shows & sell her work, she was gone.No longer did she need me.Sure it hurts, but there's nothing I can do about it,except to go on doing what I do. I've always felt that people who had the talent to do patterns always had bread & butter money from selling those patterns. You made the right choice to not give up your bread & butter money!!!!

  5. I am so glad you have changed your mind. There will always be people who steal from others and make immoral decisions, but there are far more of us who do it the right way. By not selling you would actually have been helping them because they would continue to print and sell your patterns and unknowing people would buy from them, not you. One way to try to accidently avoid this is to purchase from the designers own website and not some middle man site. Glad you're back and can't wait until the bleeding from the IRS stops enough to start purchasing again.

  7. So happy you reconsidered! I usually don't comment but with what I saw yesterday, I had too. When I was starting you inspired me in so many ways and still do. I just couldn't keep quiet for others who don't follow the rules. How can I even think that I wouldn't see your patterns again. Oh my God! I have 3 of your dolls and I treasure them. I don't have all of your patterns, but I do have quite a bit. Oh almost forgot Chicken a la Parmesana! Thanks again! Blessings! Cynthia

  9. I'm so glad you have made this decision...if I had discovered your patterns when I first started making prims I would not have a drawer full of others that I don't use. These people know what they are doing is wrong...I do believe in karma.
Have a great day and I can't wait until your next pattern. I just finished making 5 of your standing rabbit using gray and brown brushed felt..as always all your patterns turn out great...you definitely have a God give talent and am so happy you will be returning to doing what you love.
    Smiles and huggs,

  13. Maureen,
I have been so sad about your last post...When I saw it was gone I was so glad. After being at your open house and meeting you I just thought maybe when you sleep on it you will realize that we love you and what you create. And that you would be back again. All I could think about was that chicken pattern you have in the works and how I might never get to see it or make it...Now I will get sewing with all the shaggy felt that you so kindly gave me...Love ya Maureen
