I have to tell you about that picture of the wall. I guess that is the best security as we notice this quite a bit in Mexico. It seems they affix broken bottles and glass into the cement while it is still wet. Anyone would be hard pressed to try to climb over that wall!

ReplyDeleteI am from Mexico, and that kind of security has been used since the colonial ages, to prevent the workers from escaping, specially the ones that worked in the big haciendas extracting the silver, in those days they used the stone called obsidiana (a nahuatl name) and it is sharper than a surgeon scalpel. The obsidiana was used in the Aztec and Maya Empire for making weapons. Now people use glass from bottles, and it is a security device for private houses.
