I truly hope that everyone had a Blessed CHRISTmas and remembered what the celebration is really about.

Yeah...it's been just about 6 months since I promised to post more often.
Summer flew by us, we maintained a BIG garden not to mention all the flower/weed beds and the lawn...ALLLLL that lawn.
Fall came, I had two shows and then we celebrated our 30th anniversary the end of September. YIKES! We really made it!
I have a good hubby. Two weeks ago we returned from a much needed trip to Mexico. On our 4th day there, I surprised my hubby by flying in our son & wife, the 2 grandbabies, our daughter, and two of our neices. He was surprised to say the least...and very emotional! I WILL post pics! Really.

Okay, I admit it. I am THE worlds worst blogger. Life just gets in the way. New grandbaby, preparing our shop for reopening, spring yard work and the every growing lawn.
I promise myself to be a better blogger.....starting next week...LOL!

Oh my!
Just returned from 4 days in Lancaster County! I always return, refreshed and inspired. We didn't realize that there was a quilt show going on this week.....YIKES! Fabric stores were jam-packed and one woman was literally pawing the bolts that I held in my arms! I left unscathed with my usual big stash of new fabrics. We also loaded the van FULL of junk, wonderful, bee-yoo-tee-ful junk! Shutters galore, old wooden plank flooring, rusted fencing, a GREAT old screen door, etc., etc. Alas, I cannot divulge the source, I fear my lips will be handstitched shut!

I've been working on some new ideas......a couple new patterns for next week. Here's a peek of this one, she needs some tweaking and I'll probably add a couple things to the pattern. Hopefully early next week it will be ready!

It's been a loooonnnnnnnnnggggg time....

I sure had good intentions when I started this blog but life just got in my way! I fully intend to "try" to be more diligent with my musings. I'm currently working on a new a pattern and I'm really excited with how it is coming along. But alas, the girl has no arms or legs .......so until I can decide where to go with them, she leans......!
I had an absolutely frustrating morning, followed by more of the same in the aft and sometimes if I put my frustrations to paper and fabric, the best dolls are borne.
