Wind Damage.

Ugh.  It's soooo windy.  Yesterday temps were way up close to 60, overnight the winds kicked in along with cold and snow showers.  The wind was so fierce, it ripped one of the roof vents from the greenhouse and sent it flying out in the snow.  The other vent was ripped open, then slammed down and the piston that automatically opens the vent, went thru the roof of the greenhouse.  We are not happy campers.  Top it all off, the grandkids playhouse went rolling thru the yard during the night and ended up perched on the fence around the garden.  That thing is BIG AND HEAVY so you can only imagine how strong the wind gusts were.
The sun is teasing up now, peeking out amid the flurry of snow showers........Where the heck is spring anyhow?????!!!

Isn't this weather out of control? It seems like extreme everything! A few weeks ago in that blizzard we had our siding moved. Now I don't know how it slid sideways but it sure did. Not sure what we will be doing about it. Sure can't afford to reside the house (yea, elec bills here are nuts too).
I had my greenhouse roof damaged a few years ago too, but mine was from hubby hitting golf balls in the yard. :/

The winds are really bad here in the valley too. Theres a brush fire alittle over a mile away from our house and the smoke has filled the air around us. This weather has been extreme to say the least.
Hope you can fix the damages to your building without great expense.

Sorry to hear of your damage from the wind. Yes, I am ready for spring too! Over here in WA. state we have had high winds. This has been a crazy weather year for most of the U.S. Luckily we do not get much snow in the valley here. It snows half way down the hill and stops. Weird I know....it snowed uptop yesterday.

I was flying home from a business trip in Dallas in that nastiness... major turbulance. I left my stomach somewhere over Buffalo. I don't like flying to begin with so needless to say my kid got the biggest hug of his life when I landed.

So sorry to hear about the damage to your property. I am new to blogging and just wanted to stop by and let you know I am following you. I love your patterns. I have purchased many from different places. Have a good evening.
