....yesterday I painted a little black doll. I set her aside for a moment and I was prepared to put her in the oven to dry on a low temp. BUT, it was hot, real hot and I just didn't want to heat the kitchen even a wee bit. So I brought her outside and set her on a chair in the setting sun. I figured she'd pretty much dry and I'd take her in before dark.
I forgot.
And it rained last night.....
So, I just retrieved her from her wet post and she is now drying slowwwwly on the lowest oven setting.
And it's still hot!

oh my Maureen...hope she dries out just fine. I'd love to see a pic of her when she is done!
Don't you hate when that happens. I've done it a few times & remember once it also got windy & I was searching the yard for missing dolly clothes. My neighbors must of thought I lost my mind. LOL

LOL I"ve dont that before, fill the line with bodies etc,gone to town, not raining in town but come home to pouring rain! LOL I"m sure your baby ill still turn out fantastic!

Add me to the list, my doll clothes have blown away too, now I just dry them in the oven. I have been rusting some old bake ware pans for a week now and every morning they are moist with due. They are really rusty now so will have to remember to bring them in today. Too many projects at one time...love it Connie

Poor little girl - I would have loved to see a picture of her - I bet she was really aged looking. I wish I could have come of your rain!!
