The word pumpkin originates from the word "pepon" which is Greek for large melon. I have a friend who has a black cat who's named Pantera; it is a Spanish word, which in English means Panther. My suggestion for the name of your so cute....pumpkin girl is My Sweet Little Pepon and her Kitty Pantera.
